Following the unexpected transfer of our former Supervisior (Mr Yusufu Philibus) to Adamawa State, speculations have reason from different quarters as to who our next supervisor will be. You will remember that it is now 21 days that we have been without supervisor but Editorial members have been asking questions as touching who Mr Philibus successor might be. However, the most likely successor as suspected by most of us is a woman. Many fear that a woman will be more strict and courteous with all the pros and cons of NYSC which may be a threat to those who have enjoyed a season of laxity under the understanding leadership of Mr Philibus. But for persons that have been up and doing, they have absolutely nothing to fear (no sane man condemns a man for doing the right thing).

We know that whosoever will take over from Mr Philibus has a great shoe to fill. This is someone that has contributed immensely to our growth in all ramifications and we admit we owe him a lot of appreciation.  No doubts, expectations are high as regarding the identity of the next supervisor. Yet, we can assure every member of this noble CDS that we trust the judgement of the NYSC officials and we are rest assured that only a competent hand will be allowed to take over from or former supervisor.

Either a man or a woman, our cooperation and support for the supervisor is not negotiable. Stay finger-cross and in no time, our new supervisor will take charge.
