Editorial and Publicity Community Development Service group of the NYSC organised Spelling Bee competition amongst Junior Secondary schools hosted in Government College, Makurdi.

Speaking at the event, barrister Moyo Maku, President of the CDS group appreciated the contestant for showing up for the Spelling Bee as he promise to be interesting because education sector is something to be looked into.

On his part, the Principal of the host school, Mr. Chai Ephraim Sincerely thanked the CDS group for putting up this competition amongst Junior Schools , also wish same gestures would be granted to other zone in the state.
 At the end of occasion, out of fifteen Schools with thirty contestants, three made it to the grand finale.

Among the finalist are Ogbudu Victory from Baptist High School as 2nd runner up with a prize of N20,000, Catherine Ahemen Yayua as first runner up with a prize of N30,000, from Leadership Preparatory School Kanshio, while the 1st position goes to Emmanuella Nguevese Tyofa from Reckons International School with a prize of N40,000.

In appreciation,   winners of the Spelling Bee served as Editorial and Publicity CDS Project, thanked them for free and fair judgement during the competition and also for the huge prizes given to them.

Barrister Moyo Maku appreciated everyone for their cooperation and patience during the competition, and thanked God the project came to a successful closure
