President of Editorial and Publicity CDS group, Barrister Maku Moyo, has revealed that his desire for contribution towards success made him run for office.

The CDS president who is also a lawyer and Benue State's corp member of the week disclosed this during a short interview at Radio Benue, Makurdi. 

Moyo was awarded 'corps member of the week' for his good conduct, diligence and hard work and  in his patriotic act towards his service to the country. 

Speaking to Rachael, He said "when I got into the CDS group, I felt I could add something and contribute positively to the group, I didn't really think about running for president early enough. I had just always wanted to contribute to the development and success of the group. Eventually I got the motivation to run for office which I actually did".

When asked about his achievements so far as CDS president, Moyo replied,  'With the cooperation of the group, and help of the executives, we've been able to accomplish quite some things such as the start up of our news website which immensely fulfil the principal objective of the group, several sensitisations which is necessary for the correction of ills and development of the society at large."
